Daniel Gupta
Daniel is a first-generation American entrepreneur, philanthropist, and art collector with Israeli and Indian heritage. Born in Chicago and raised in Bloomington, Indiana, Daniel Gupta grew up in an academic home shaped by philosophical thinking and global awareness. A first-generation American with Israeli and Indian heritage, his early environment, led by two philosophy professor parents, instilled a deep sense of curiosity and independence.
Daniel’s entrepreneurial journey began humbly—flipping used cars from his college driveway. That drive evolved into Premium & Exotic Wholesale, now the largest custom hauler truck dealership in the U.S. Simultaneously, he expanded into real estate, growing a diverse portfolio of residential, multifamily, and industrial properties, as well as large-scale land development projects.
But Daniel’s vision extended far beyond business.
Driven by a deep-rooted passion for humanitarian work and art, he began traveling the globe—supporting underserved artists, funding community projects, and collecting artworks with powerful stories. Over the last 15 years, he has self-funded more than 26 humanitarian initiatives across Central America, Africa, and Asia, ranging from clean water systems to schools, libraries, and playgrounds.
In response to the gap between artistic talent and opportunity, Daniel founded the International Art Project (IAP)—a 501(c)(3) nonprofit using art to drive real-world impact. IAP connects fine art donations with humanitarian causes, turning creative expression into meaningful action.
He also launched the Elysian Art Collection in 2024, a 15-year global curation of unrecognized brilliance. Elysian is both a platform for artists and a vehicle for impact—fueling IAP’s mission through curated exhibitions and purpose-driven projects.
